Our history
At Big Bloom, we believe that collective intelligence can save the world! We are convinced that a more just and sustainable society can be built here and now if we all work together.
Since 2018, we have acquired in-depth expertise in collective intelligence methods through the organization of more than 300 hackathons around the world.
Today, we want to pass on our know-how to as many people as possible: this is the mission of the Big Bloom Academy.

These values are the pillars of our community, but also a reflection of our commitment to collaborative, positive, and rewarding learning.
Solidarity
Big Bloom is not for profit (we are a SCOP backed by a 1901 association). We believe that society is only solid when it is united. We value the inclusiveness and diversity of our learners. We create the conditions for genuine mutual assistance between alumni.

We strive to achieve the highest standards in everything we do. This means carefully designed training programs, expert trainers and the constant search for feedback.
Joy
We have a deeply optimistic and positive vision of the world. If our courses are dynamic and enthusiastic, they are not staged but an expression of our profound values. We believe in the possibility of creating a more just and sustainable world.

Barbara Staebell
Coach, consultant, trainer
Barbara was HR director for 20 years in industrial and transport companies before becoming a coach. She works as a coach, consultant, trainer, mainly in the Grand Est region but also in Senegal.

Florence Hale
Coach, facilitator, trainer
With over 20 years of experience in France, Germany, Switzerland and the United States, Florence is passionate about supporting the inner transformation of individuals and organizations who want to have a positive impact on the world.

Laura Montagna
Project manager, coach
Laura is Italian. She lives in Paris. She worked for 15 years in events as a project manager. After a transition, she is now project manager for the Big Bloom solidarity hackathons in France and Italy.

Scott Drummond
Coach, facilitator
Scott started his career in marketing and social media in Australia and Great Britain. After training in coaching, he specialized in facilitating groups of all sizes. He is also a podcast author. It is based in south London.

Stella Riggi
Trainer, consultant
Stella has been HR manager in the audiovisual sector and in a large international firm for nearly 35 years. After retraining, she became a collective intelligence coach and consultant specializing in diversity, equity and inclusion. It is based in Montreal.

Yael Collet

Yael is based in Singapore. After several experiences, including at the Red Cross and the Chamber of Commerce, she is now in charge of the development of a company specialized in coaching for managers throughout Asia.

Yvan Gatignon
Coach, Academy Director
Yvan is the founder of Big Bloom. He is the author of several books including “52 leadership lessons inspired by true stories” and “Hackathon - 8 hours to solve a solidarity challenge in teams”. He designed and led +300 collective intelligence training courses.
